Once Spring begins it is time to bust out sandals, flip-flops, and other opened toe shoes. I’ve got you covered with the prettiest spring nail colors. Almost all these brands you can find at the drugstore and are under $10. You do not need to splurge on nail polish to have a great manicure. So gather around kids because here are my top 5 spring shades!
This white shade with subtle shimmer is my go-to. I love this shade because it pairs perfectly with tan skin. The shimmer in the nail polish does not really show up once you put it on but it does make the nail polish seem shinier. If you’ve wanted a white nail polish you should dive in and get this one.
This is the only purple you need in your collection. I bought this shade as a reward for doing well on an exam my freshman year and I have been obsessing over it ever since. I love this purple shade and I find myself reapplying it all the time. The shade is not too pastel but it is not too dark either. It is a beautiful lilac shade that has good staying power. I will definitely repurchase this shade when I run out.
The Wet n Wild gel collection has a fabulous staying power. They last quite a few days on my nails without chipping. The best part? You do not need a special UV lamp to get the staying power of gel nails with this formula. This shade is a beautiful pastel pink. I wore this during sorority recruitment and it lasted throughout the week with minimal touch-ups. These are so cheap I recommend picking up a few shades. Also, Wet n Wild goes on sale all the time at CVS and Walgreens so pick these up when a good deal is going on.
I love the brand Ella + Mila. I received this polish in a BoxyCharm box and I have been loved it. The nail polish is “7 Free” which means it doesn’t have things like formaldehyde, camphor, and xylene. The nail polish is also made in the USA, is cruelty-free, and vegan. The higher price of this nail polish is definitely worth the quality and ethics of the product. The beautiful pastel mint green shade is a spring must-have. Plus the cute elephant on the bottle is a nice added feature.
China Glaze is a hidden gem at Sally Beauty Supply Stores. I am obsessed with these nail polishes. They have an unbelievable shade range, great quality, and affordable prices. My favorite shade from them is Shower Together. It is a beautiful Caribbean water blue. I have worn this shade a ton of times and I can never get over how pretty it looks against pale or tan skin. I once had heard that OPI owned China Glaze but after some research I couldn’t find whether that is true or not. However, these polishes are great quality and this color is very unique.
